MY LIFE AS A NAPKIN ...

The crowd at 7th and Montana was aghast this morning on news that our beloved Charlie was descended from a napkin.  A kindly World War II veteran informed us that during the War -- when paper goods were in short supply -- rumors circulated among the troops that Shaggy Dogs were to be used in place of napkins.  In other news, new evidence suggests that General Patton served double-duty as a tablecloth in 1945.
