We've all seen some strange birds in Santa Monica, but what I saw walking around the beach yesterday really takes the cake. A Pelican was strolling down Ocean Front Walk along with his good friend, a homeless man who -- judging from the smell -- must have been wearing anchovy cologne. I guess you could say the two of them were like birds of a feather!
