I enjoyed a sweet and sour return to Santa Monica yesterday as a nice neighbor -- by the corner of 7th and Marguerita -- offered freebie lemons to passersby. "FREE from our TREE: Take Some, Leave Some" read the sign posted by a bunch of lemons on the lawn. While I couldn't bring myself to pluck lemons off the ground, I made a cheerful deposit of my own by throwing a lime into the mix!
