The prospect of today's statewide elections sent a shriver down my spine this morning as Our Favorite City Councilman -- Bobby Shriver -- took me by surprise by repeatedly urging me to vote. Ironically, mere seconds before Shriver made the scene, Tom loudly proclaimed him a modern day "Carpet Bagger." In any case, by the time Shriver left (see the back of his head receding into the distance), he had convinced me to vote!
