If variety really is the Spice of Life, then United Airlines has done something right on their morning nonstop from L.A. to N.Y.: They're handing out copies of Daily Variety. Not only that, they've expanded the business class section (making it easier to get upgrades) and added electrical outlets to every seat. Best of all, they even gave me a Grande Drip before take off!
