AN ALARMIST MAKES THE SCENE ... AT 7TH AND MONTANA

"Attention, Please:  Will the Moron driving a Black Nissan Pathfinder -- California License #4XGM211 -- kindly take a long walk off the Santa Monica Pier?"  That's what I felt like shouting this morning at 7th and Montana as an Anonymous Alarmist allowed his car alarm to blare on and on while he presumably grabbed a cup of coffee.  Don't get me wrong, I agree that safety comes first, but car alarms that go off by themselves for no apparent reason are not safe.  They're just a nuisance.  Besides, in light of the Mysterious Disappearing Baristas, we have enough cause for alarm as it is ...!

I had an alarming morning, my fire alarm was going off on its own free will, not an ember in sight.Beckie x

This must be a defect in the vehicle.  There was a fellow at work that would get out of his pathfinder and it would do the same thing.  He looked embarassed, lol.  Sometimes those things are too sensitive, someone could just walk by it and a slight breeze would set it off.  Annoying!  One reason I do not miss apartment living for sure!

p.s. Is it humid, the picture looks a bit foggy but that's probably just my eyes. I truly think I have an eye infection, ugh.

We call cars like that trucks! Maybe the alarm was going off cos it wanted filling up with another 100 gallons of gas!.......... Sheesh, no wonder the worlds weather is up the creek.

I HATE car alarms.  What's even worse is when your neighbor let's their grandkid play with their keys all day and they continually turn the alarm on.  Of course, the grandparents seem to take their time finding the off button!
