STATING THE OBVIOUS AT 7TH AND MONTANA ...!

Ladies and Gentlemen, meet Mr. Obvious, the latest newcomer on the scene at 7th and Montana.  While I don't know Mr. Obvious personally, at first I was convinced he was talking to me this morning when he walked right up to me and said loudly, "Either he's going to do something, or he's not."  Just as I was preparing to agree wholeheartedly (afterall, what is there to disagree with?), it became clear that he was talking to someone else through an almost invisible microphone sticking out of his right ear.  "Like I said," he repeated, "Either he's going to do something, or he's not."  At the risk of stating the Obvious, it's getting harder and harder lately to tell the people who talk into wireless mouthpieces apart from Babbling Psychopaths.  I'd point this out to Mr. Obvious, but something tells me he'd either listen or he wouldn't ...!

Did you happen to see the George Lopez HBO special a few months back?  He did a great rant on the bluetooth wireless thing in the ear... People have no idea how stupid it seems do they... lol

be well,

LOL, this made me laugh because it happens all too often than nought when I am out and about.  I will turn thinking someone is saying something to me and they don't even notice me they are so focused on their day and that noise penetrating their brain from the head piece.

p.s. Props for allowing Mr. Obvious to maintain his anonymity on the Net! :-)

It really is disconcerting to think you are being spoken to when you are really being ignored!

Ugh...another form of technology enabling people to be rude. I often wonder how people managed to survive going for an errand before cell phones and the likes. I'm not complaining in your case, we would miss a great deal of entertainment if you didn't have one. You at least handle it with class..(Hugs) Indigo

I've done that...answered someone, then to find out they weren't speaking to me.  Funny thing, the phonie looks at me like I'm crazy!

You know what's funny about that ( the head for technology need to become robots-like)?  The psychology.  The caffeine.  The status quo of Starbucks.  The techno ears.  Ah yes...the techvancement of mankind. ;)  C.
