A LITTLE DIGNITY AT 7TH AND MONTANA ...!

The "Dignified Walking Lady" made the scene at 7th and Montana this morning, stopping briefly at Our Favorite Starbucks before continuing on her usual patrol through the neighborhood.  Known for her Arctic Sense of Style in 80-degree heat, the Dignified Walking Lady (DWL) is always prepared for anything ranging from a snow squall to a monsoon.  Over the years, I've grown to appreciate her sheer tenacity.  Today, I struck up a conversation:

Me:  Good Morning

DWL:  Hi!

Me:  Nice, warm weather, isn't it?

DWL:  Hi!

Me:  Why, it almost feels like Summer!

DWL:  Hi!

Me:  Oh, well.  I'd better be going ...!

DWL:  No English ...!

She's from a very, very hot planet...in a distant galaxy...far, far away. --Cin

Love Cins comment. I just think she loopy myself! I also think that black thing round her neck is a collostomy bag.

Any ideas where she is from?

More than one barrier with this lady, eh?  Maybe she has terribly low blood sugar or pressure and that is why she is cold when everyone else is melting.  Maybe she is a nun.  Maybe she is really a man!  In all seriousness, nice that you tried though.  Did you figure out what her nationality might be?

LOL, just slightly related, but as kids, we lived in a neighborhood with a guy we called "Boy It's Hot". He may have set the Arctic Style Trend, as I was a kid 1000 years.

maybe she lived in the tropics all her life and any hot weather to us feels cool for her/him, ask her/him if her name is Mowgli, had a friend called Baloo and nearly got eaten by a tiger. Beckie x
