JACKSON TAKES THE CAKE ...!
It was a day of surprises in Plainville, Massachusetts today as record crowds attended my nephew Jackson's First Birthday Party. My sister, Karen, basically "snubbed" Author Heidi Murkoff, who advises new parents to "keep it simple" when planning their baby's first birthday. This was a fully catered affair including a Clown; "Jackson's Daddy's Band" (better known as The Syphilloids); a Kiddie Teepee (which my Grandmother took by Eminent Domain); Baby's First Tattoos (Jackson got a "Duckie with Balloons") and enough food to feed an army. As for Jackson, he really took the cake. Actually, he smeared it all over himself and enjoyed every minute of it ...!
