HOLY ROLLERS ... AT 7TH AND MONTANA!

Make way for the Holy Rollers, a pair of teenage girls who made the scene at 7th and Montana this morning wearing roller blades. Never mind that roller blades weren't designed to be worn inside, they skated right into Our Favorite Starbucks at full speed, wreaking havoc in their wake. "What do they think this is, a car hop?," I asked. I nearly complained about it, but decided to just roll with it ...!

Yeah if you can't beat 'em just roll with 'em.

I used to love my blades although I wasn't coordinated enough to wear them into a store. Had to get rid of them a few years ago...afraid to fall down now. This getting older has its drawbacks, dang it. I hope those young women are enjoying the heck out of not worrying about breaking a hip :) Cin

Actually the toughest part about being a rollerblader is telling your parents that you're gay.
