ASHES TO ASHES ... AT 7TH AND MONTANA

It was "Ashes to Ashes and Dust to Dust" this morning as chivalry died a slow and painful death at 7th and Montana. It all began when an Anonymous Ash-hole (pictured left) parked his Porsche in the red zone, blocking the entryway to the Parking Lot from Hell and virtually ensuring that subsequent vehicles hit the curb in an effort to avoid his car. His vanity license plate -- "2SHALLOW" -- says it all. Speaking of Ash-holes, the skies over Santa Monica (pictured right) have been filled with ashes and smoke resulting from the wildfires that have been raging out of control throughout much of Southern California. The fires thus far have destroyed more than 800 residences and forced the evacuation of 50,000 people from communities such as Carbon Canyon, Chino Hills and Yorba Linda. California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger -- who normally tools by Our Favorite Starbucks on his way to church on Sundays -- instead spent this morning at a press conference at Hansen Dam in Pacoima where he explained that firefighters have been battling a "perfect storm" based on high temperatures, high winds and a very dry climate.

I am so sorry for the families that have lost in this terrible tragic fire!
Some people don't deserve licenses, or should be around people, especially your Mr. Shallow. Shame on him!

I hope they can get the fires under control soon. I read yesterday that they had hit Montecito, which was dismaying because we stayed at the Montecito Inn (the former home of Charlie Chaplin) once a few years ago and loved it. My thoughts and prayers are with all those affected and displaced.

Hugs, Beth

We are praying for the fires to get under control. I just heard from a friend who's grandparents just lost their home. Sad times. 2Shallow needs to take a second look and see what is really important in life. Someone with I Don't Care on their truck'slicenese just might ram right into him.

Hope your staying safe hon! It's so tragic so many families have lost their homes. Anyone who sports a license plate like that is indeed Shallow! (Hugs)Indigo

After thinking about that license plate for awhile, we may be misinterpreting it....I think he has that vanity plate to indicate he's from the shallow end of the gene pool!,.which means he's not a good driver and the plate is a warning for everbody to watch out!

We have been watching the news over here. The fires are so tragic, I believe that no one has lost there life yet? As for Ash hole...... A quick remedy. Some one distract him. Then you Marty go and push a large potato up his exhaust pipe. Watch him drive off and 100 yards up the road BANG!! The exhaust drops off and he goes into orbit. Simple. ;-)
